Click a node to operate on it. Cracked red nodes are damaged. Glowing nodes are active right now.

How to play

  1. Read the case. A fly's brain was damaged. When the stimulus arrives it no longer behaves like a healthy fly.
  2. Open the circuit map. Every dot is a real cell type from the male fruit-fly connectome. Lines are real synapses.
  3. Operate. Click a dot to Boost (stimulate) or Silence it. You can't touch sensors or the command neurons; you can only rewire the middle.
  4. Restore the behaviour to the healthy level without waking up the wrong behaviours (collateral damage costs points).
  5. Every fix you save becomes a candidate circuit in your case file that you can export for researchers.

The simulator is a rate model running on the real wiring of a pathway subgraph. It is a teaching and exploration tool, not a prediction of living-fly behaviour.
